Context
Anushka’s Lollapalooza set was high energy, full of synths, sweat, and sound system bliss. She needed merch that captured her aesthetic without feeling like typical festival gear. The goal was to create something fans would keep, wear, and post.
Objectives
Design artist-aligned merch that felt true to Anushka’s 90s Retro vibe
Produce performance-inspired content for Instagram and reels
Make the merch feel like a part of the experience, not just a souvenir
Challenges
Translating her sound + visual world into tactile, wearable design
Avoiding overdone "DJ merch" clichés
Working solo on a tight turnaround, from brief to production
My Approach
Merch Design
I created a two-piece capsule — a cap and tote — built around the phrase “Made it this far.” A nod to both game culture and emotional checkpoints.
Caps: Pixel gradient text with hidden icons (hearts, ghosts, Pac-Man) and version stamp "4.0" — a playful touchpoint for fans of her sonic evolution
Tote Bags: Minimal, digital-age inspired layout featuring a floppy disk, warped typography, and Anushka’s name subtly placed — timeless enough for everyday carry

Results
22K+ reel views within days
100% merch sell-through at the festival
Strengthened Anushka’s visual identity within the electronic scene
Testimonial
“It was great working with Ronit on this project. People were DMing me asking where to buy the tote right after the set.”
— Anushka, DJ/Producer
